Revolutionary retail product protection and personal safety technology developing Noccela Ltd in Turku have received early-stage financing 350 000 euros. The company main product are cloud service which gives data in real time when shoplifting are in action. “With our system we can significantly reduce our customer’s retail losses. We are transferring active product security from alarm ports to inside the store”, says Riku Miettinen Director of Customer relationships.
In addition to cloud service the company’s own production are alarms that are designed for different product categories. “For developing physical devices and series production, we take advantage of our extensive partner network. This allows our development team to focus on our browser and mobile access cloud service. Close contacts to pilots has been primary importance from the beginning. We have been able to develop user-friendly solutions for our customers’ needs”, tells company’s Director of Technology Tapani Talvitie.
“During the fall, we talked with 20 investors and the interest in our company exceeded expectations. In addition of investments we got along some professional skills that supports our core team”, says company’s CEO Juuso Anteroinen.
The company aims at strong international growth. Outside the Finland, implemented client-specific projects discussions have already begun. With the rapid growth and internationalization, the company is planning the next round of funding at the end of the year 2015.
